How To Be A Gentleman

I write this blog after the show has seemingly been cancelled. It had potential though, but it dropped the ball...big time. Kevin Dillon is definitely my favorite Dillon and I'll give any show he's on a chance. What would have made this show better? Make it crazy and stop trying to inject so much heart. If you continue to read my blog, you will see that "heart" in sitcoms is the bane of my existence. Seinfeld was the greatest sitcom of all time, namely because the writers rid the show of all heart. Kevin Dillon should have forced the proper character to act outside of his comfort zone which would have led to the two getting involved in crazy situations every week. For example: Take what may have been the last episode of this show ever to air. The show ends with a wedding brawl. Awesome! Exactly what I was talking about. But no, they cut off the crazy after about ten seconds and it was just a fantasy sequence. Insert two minutes of heart and erase all pretense of humor and laughter. That is why this show sucks and that is why this show was cancelled. Now imagine if the wedding brawl actually happened. Imagine a crazy two minutes of chaos. Now that would have been funny. Now imagine something like that happening every week.
