The Big Bang Theory is consistently one of my favorite sitcoms. Not at the top of my list, but on my list, near the bottom of my favorites. So what I'm saying is that I like the sitcom, so now that we got that out of the way, lets discuss the problems:
1. The running gags have grown tiresome over the years, and it's time to grow some of the characters.
a)Raj: He can't talk to women unless he's drunk. It was funny for a season, maybe even two, but it has gotten really old and predictable. If I wanted predictable laughs, I'd watch Two and a Half Men. Maybe they can start small with him. Have him develop a comfort with one or two females. Since he's spent so much time hanging out with Penny, I think she would be a good place to start.
b)Howard: Again, predictable laughs with the mother bit. It just doesn't make sense to me that Bernadette would give up a beautiful apartment to move in with Howard and his mother. It would make even less sense if she stayed there after they get married. Unless of course the writers want to continue the predictable laughs; then it would make perfect sense.
2.Sheldon: Great character, but tread carefully. Too much Sheldon leads to an annoying episode. Just the right amount of Sheldon is a great episode.
3.Penny: I wasn't a big fan of this show in season one, but I watched because Kaley Cuoco is so hot. Her screen time has been declining and I don't like that at all. Last season it seemed that they cut her screen time by 75%, a figure I don't like at all.
